Georgetown Homes

Georgetown DC real estate brings past and present together. Townhouses and historic row houses date back to the 1800's and 1900's. Ultra-modern homes live side-by-side with renovated colonial structures. Reproductions of 19th century architecture are also popular in newer Georgetown homes. Garden-style and mid-rise apartments and condos are also common.

In terms of price, Georgetown condominiums may start just shy of $200,000 for efficiency but exceed $4 million for the larger units. Single family homes range from $800,000 to almost $30 million for stately homes of historical significance. The stately mansions (in the prestigious 20007 ZIP code), owned by prominent Georgetown residents will leave a lasting impression. Note that many of these homes are referred to by name, even after the original residents are long gone, such as the Halcyon house, Katharine Graham house or Evermay.

Local amenities are plentiful and close in proximity, as well as the Metro bus, access to the Georgetown Washington Parkway, I-66 and the Rock Creek Parkway.
