Massachusetts Heights is an affluent and desirable neighborhood in Northwest Washington, D.C. that consists mainly of two parts – the small residential area north of Observatory Circle, and the 57-acre grounds of the Washington National Cathedral. Massachussetts Heights real estate falls within Woodley Road to the north, Massachusetts Avenue to the southwest, 34th Street NW to the east, and Wisconsin Avenue to the west.

Real estate here is in demand and tends to attract a number of international buyers. Homes in Massachusetts Heights are close to Embassy Row, scenic Rock Creek Park, and many grace large lots with mature, shady trees.   There are only a few homes in the $1 million to $2 million range.  Prices go as high as $20 million.  The higher priced residences may have a European flare, friezes, custom millwork and grand entertaining spaces, both inside and outside.  These residences are typically on large secluded lots in a park like setting. 

Not only do residents share the neighborhood with the Washington National Cathedral, but the adjoining schools, which include St. Albans (private boys school), the National Cathedral School (private girls school), and Beauvoir Elementary School.
